Learning Through Action
The Learning Space organized the Sustainability Bootcamp of from Fundamental Decision as a creative learning program for children aged 9–15 years old.
This one-day event gave young learners the chance to explore creativity, teamwork, and sustainable thinking in a hands-on way.
Through discussions and workshops, participants discovered how small actions can lead to big changes for the planet.
They learned how communities work together and how thoughtful choices shape a better and more responsible future

Business Collaboration Visit at Rajut Nusa
A highlight of the Bootcamp was the Business Collaboration Visit to Rajut Nusa from Fundamental Decision.
Here, the children interacted directly with the team and experienced how a local creative brand practices sustainability in real life.
Rajut Nusa shared its story of transforming plastic waste into valuable accessories and bags.
Participants watched how used plastic bags are cleaned, cut, and crocheted into colorful, functional pieces.
Many were amazed to see that what once was trash could become beautiful, useful, and marketable art.
Hands-On Workshop: Crocheting Plastic Waste
During the workshop, every participant had the chance to touch, twist, and crochet the recycled plastic materials.
They worked in small groups, learning how patience and creativity can give waste new meaning.
The process sparked many ideas and questions — about recycling, design, and entrepreneurship.
It encouraged them to think critically about consumption and how innovation can protect nature.
Rajut Nusa’s team guided the children through each step, showing that sustainability can be both fun and impactful.

Building Awareness and Imagination
The Bootcamp aimed to help children see the connection between the environment, business, and creativity.
By meeting real entrepreneurs, they learned that sustainability is not only about recycling — it’s about creating value and caring for people and the planet.
Through this activity, the children discovered their power to make thoughtful decisions and dream bigger.
They also saw that change begins with curiosity, courage, and collaboration.

The Future Starts with Small Steps
The Sustainability Bootcamp closed with laughter, reflection, and new inspiration.
Each participant brought home a small handmade piece — a reminder that every person, even at a young age, can make a difference.
For Rajut Nusa, this collaboration reaffirmed its mission: to inspire communities, nurture creativity, and turn sustainability into a way of life.
By opening its doors to the next generation, Rajut Nusa hopes to keep spreading awareness — one recycled thread at a time.
